Playdle is a daily guessing game. This page is the policy for the site, including optional advertising.

What stays on your device

Puzzle progress, stats (played, wins, streak), and whether you have seen the how-to sheet are stored in this browser with localStorage. Nothing is sent to a Playdle account — there isn’t one. Clearing site data resets stats.

Advertising

After you finish a puzzle, Playdle may show Google AdSense ads. Those ads use cookies and similar identifiers so Google can measure and, if you allow it, personalize ads. Playdle does not sell your data. Google’s rules for this are in the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses ads.

You can allow or refuse ad cookies on the consent bar. Refusing means ads stay off for this browser. Changing your mind: clear this site’s data, or use Google’s Ad Settings.

YouTube trailers

After you finish a puzzle, Playdle embeds a YouTube trailer for that game. YouTube may set its own cookies. That player loads only on the result screen, not while you are guessing.

What we don’t collect

No email, no account, no precise location. The host that serves the app may see standard server logs (IP, browser) as any website does.

Children

Playdle is a general-audience puzzle about well-known video games. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, the updated text will live on this page.
